These guys are awesome! Very professional and fun to work with. I've encountered my fair share of wedding photographers, and for the most part, the usual approach for most is to play it passively; be the 'fly on the wall' -- out of the way and out of the action while also picking and choosing their shots. That is not these guys.

Dim Horizon flips the table on all of that, by getting their hands dirty. They know what makes great photography and how to get it, and they aren't shy about getting the job done. They know that the bottom line is, you hired them to get you great photos, so great photos are what you are going to get. Being polite and out of the way, means that some great timeless moments are not getting the angle it deserves.

For example, during the Groomsmen photos (I was the Best Man), they had no problem telling all of us what to do, where to go, and how to do it. They were funny and engaging, sometimes playing with a humorously abrasive approach to keep us focused which also avoided the delicate nonsense that can crop up when organizing people. They kept things very casual during the more 'staged' photos, not posing us as much as 'refining' what worked; taking the natural chemistry of the group and cleaning it up for the camera. As a guy who has been to a fair few amount of weddings, it was very refreshing.

We did the Santa mini sessions with them and it was amazing! our 3-year-old is very stranger wary and they made sure to have enough time to get him calm and used to the amazing tattooed Santa so we left with amazing Christmas photos!.

Wow! Massage Geeks did our headshots with Matt and Nicole of Dim Horizon today. They were fast, professional, and most of all, FUN. The banter made all of our smiles in the photos of real ones. We also lucked out on the turnaround time - our proofs from the session were available by the evening. Now we have the unenviable job of selecting our 5 favorites from an embarrassment of riches. Can't wait to see the edits of our final selections. We highly recommend them!
